There are some rain showers moving through the Erie area right now, but other than that there isn't a whole lot going on in the region right now. Now earlier today there was a random tornado warning in the Toledo area that lasted only 10 minutes, and that was more or less an error on their part. Now for the rest of the afternoon we could still see a chance for scattered rain showers in the area especially around Fort Wayne and Toledo. There is some rain showers trying to develop in that area, however most of those will be scattered and light.
Now there is yet another system of precip I am watching that is just getting near to the Indianapolis (or a little bit south) and that is looking like it is trying to move our way. Looking like these rain showers are going to get into the area this evening and some of them could be heavy, but in general it is going to be a moderate rain event.
Overnight tonight these rain showers are going to push into the Detroit area and the Cleveland area and some of them could be heavy and contain and an embedded storm, however like I just mentioned...rain event.
Most of these rain showers are going to end in the afternoon tomorrow, and then we'll see some lingering rain showers in the area for Fort Wayne and Toledo tomorrow afternoon, but at the same time those clouds will start to break in that area tomorrow afternoon. I'll update you more on that for the evening update. Now, for Erie, looking like those rain showers are going to end during the afternoon tomorrow, and then we could see a lingering shower in the evening as we could still see those lingering showers in the Erie and Cleveland area tomorrow, however most of them will end in the evening hours for Cleveland and Erie.
So here is what I am working on for the evening update: more corny jokes and some information on the rain that we'll be seeing overnight tonight through tomorrow morning. But just looks like another rain event. I'll keep you updated as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you as always.
