Those storms over in Wisconsin are still going strong, and I am still seeing quite a bit of warnings associated with it. A few tornado warnings here and there, but they are dopplar radar indicated so in general...just a big rain maker. The reason for the warning is that dopplar radar showed signs of storm rotation. That means the storm has the potential to produce a funnel cloud or perhaps produce nothing more than hail. As of right now, no reports of any tornadoes nor funnels...nor anything of that nature.
I will be watching as those storms continue to move eastward throught the evening, and already behind these storms the SPC is hacking that watch back, indicating that the threat for stronger storms behind these present storms will be very little if not none, and that the cold front is about to pass.
I am watching another cluster of storms taking shape over Illinois/Iowa border, and that will be something that I will be keeping an eye on seeing as how that could potentially impact the Fort Wayne area a little later on.
I'll keep you updated as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you as always.
