Somewhat rainy night

Well for the southwestern part of the region tonight, it will be a little rainy for us. I am not seeing the development of rain showers I was expecting at this time, however it looks as thought that front is about to become stationary over Ohio across an area from about Cincinnati on up to our area around Cleveland and Erie. I am following a disturbance that could possibly give us some rain showers tonight in places like Toledo and Fort Wayne, and then a little bit later for Cleveland.

Now, I am going to update those extended forecasts in just a couple minutes, and I am going to cut back some of the preip chances for the next 24 hours, so do be sure to check those to know what you'll be seeing.

As far as the week is concerned, I am expecting a good chance of rain showers through the times that I can forecast for. It looks as though this stationary front is going to allow for some disturbances and weak low pressures to cross through the region, so that will definetly give us some rain showers over the week. At least it will be keeping those temps up.

Now, I do apologize for the lack of information on this post, however...it has been a busy past couple of days with all the weather and a quick break is more or less what I am going for this evening. So...yea...not a long post tonight. I am going to update those extended forecasts here and then I am going to count this as the evening update. Now, if things change a bit from what I am expecting, then of course I will update you.

So for tonight, rain showers possible in Fort Wayne through Erie, and that will be because of that front which will become stationary. Rain showers really wont arrive until late this evening (say 9.00 p.m. or so in Fort Wayne and Toledo). The system is actually going to pass south of the region, hence the odd timings, however it could bump a bit northward tonight and that is why those chances of rain showers tonight are little on the "wordy" side. Toledo will see a better chance for rain tonight than Fort Wayne will, however Cleveland is going to see a higher chance than Toledo...but Buffalo will be lucky to get some rain tonight. The system is going to run through central Ohio tonight and that is why the chances for tonight are the way they are...it also isn't going to be as strong as I had originally expected.

Pop up rain showers are possible in some places just to the south of Toledo late this evening (basically a stray shower could come off this system to the south east and scrape by the Toledo area). Fort Wayne, I thinking that I put my chances for you guys too high, so that will be something that I'll keep an eye on if need be...remember you can always check the radar on the daily forecasts to see whether or not you'll be getting rain showers.

So in the morning (6.30 a.m.) updates will be back to their normal times and I'll keep you informed on what I expect from this stationary front over the next couple days. If things do change drastically, then of course I will update you later this evening, but for right now, I am going to count this as the evening update.

I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you as always.
