Things are starting to get a little bit interesting, but I am still not really seeing much of a change in the recent activity then what I was seeing a little bit earlier. We have some storms (all without a warning though) moving into the state of Indiana, and they appear to be headed east-northeast at this time.
The watch that was issued includes places like Toledo and Fort Wayne and the watch goes until 10.00 p.m. EST for us here in the region, though it could very well be cancelled before that. All this is because that cold front is pushing into the region, and we are getting some off and on clearing in the skies in the area, so that is making it nice for some lift to help those storms develop.
Again, I am not seeing much right now, and it looks like the best chances for storms will be early this evening for places like Fort Wayne and Toledo. A few storms could get a warning on them, but I am not expecting anything too major. Biggest threat will be heavy downpours and small hail.
If things really start to go downhill in a hurray (for example about 10 or more counties in the forecast area go under a warning or a fairly decent storm line forms that I believe could possibly be dangerous) then of course I'll be back to update you all and keep you informed, but for the mean time I am not really expecting much right now at this point. Looks like things will be calm for another couple of hours. Only places that I will be keeping an eye on will be NE Indiana and NW Ohio, however we still have sometime before that needs to happen. So, there will be another update this evening, and possibly sooner if things get out of hand. Now, do be sure to keep an eye on that radar, copy and paste the link provided at the daily forecast. Otherwise, I'll be updating you for the regular evening update around 8.30 p.m.
I'll keep you updated as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you as always.
