A system to keep track on

Now last night I was telling you all about this low pressure system that will effect the region on Wednesday. Well, it will still happen, but recent indications show that the low wont be as exciting as originally thought. The biggest thing I am working on right now is the track of the low pressure system and the timing of it. Because of this, the extended forecasts wont be posted until I get that track down right, so do keep checking back throughout the morning because I'll have those posted as I work on the times.

We're in the time of year where these low pressures want to go back north. In the winter they pass to the south (snow) and in the summer they usually go a little to our north (rain) but in Spring and Autumn we see these low pressures pass through the Great Lakes region as they return to their destination. This is the process we're going to be entering over the next few weeks, so rain showers will be frequent over the next month as two because a lot of these lows will effect us.

The low I am watching for will form in the southern Plain's and it will take a northeasternly track towards Michigan. However, once it passes through Chicago, my biggest question is will it go towards Lake Superior or stay at Lake Michigan. Either way, rain showers will be likely.

Could we get storms? Most likely, we'll get a few in the region, and will they be strong? Hard to tell yet, but I doubt they will.

I'll keep you updated throughout the morning, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them.
