(The system responsible for today's weather is the low pressure on the far left of this chart, showers running along the front extending into Ohio.).
You know when the weather repeats itself when you start repeating the titles of posts you did a week ago. Oh well.
Our next system is on its way right now, it is located in the Plain's and it will move towards us over the next 36 hours. Rain showers will be common for the day today in places like Fort Wayne and Toledo, who'll start off seeing scattered rain showers, however by the afternoon much of it will become a more steadier rain.
As far as storms are concerned, most of those will be to the west of the forecast area, however a few rumbles of thunder will be possible in Toledo and Fort Wayne.
As the system moves closer to us, those temperature are going to start to drop, and when we get on the backside of this low pressure system we could start to see some of those left over rain showers mix in with snow in Toledo and Fort Wayne, but most of it will not accumulate too anything much.
The real accumulation will happen in Erie and Buffalo as we'll see those northwest winds blow over a warmer Lake Erie and that could cause some light lake effect snow with accumulations upwards of 1-3 inches, possibly 4 inches in regions just south of Buffalo. Of course this snow will be more so tomorrow and tomorrow evening.
So most places are going to see a variety of weather today, be sure to check those extended forecasts for your location so you can see just exactly what you'll be getting and when. Otherwise, temperatures are going to return back to normal across much of the region -- and it is rather comical when you think about it seeing as how those average temps are going to seem rather cool.
I'll keep you updated as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you as always.
