(Low pressure located in NE Missouri, will cross into Indiana later this afternoon).
Today is going to be a rainy day across much of the region, snowy if you're in Green Bay, and that is due to our low pressure system which is now in NE Missouri. Also, a stationary front is located right along the Indiana and Michigan, and the Ohio and Michigan border, so that will allow for further rain showers to develop during the day.
As the day goes on, this low pressure will move towards Indiana, it wont be strong, but it'll be enough to continue those rain showers. However, once that low begins to pass, we could see some cooler air behind it which will give us some chances for snow in places like Fort Wayne and Toledo.

(Southern Great Lakes regional radar image for 7:38 a.m. EST).
There wont be much accumulation because the ground will be too warm and the surface temps will be too warm - in fact for tomorrow the high will be in the upper 30's, so again, nothing much will accumulate.
For the weekend, we're looking at some chances of more rain/snow showers in the region. I'll talk more about that during the noontime update.
So for today, highs will be in the upper 40's for much of the area (minus Green Bay who'll be in the 30's) and we'll see these off and on rain showers from Fort Wayne to Buffalo. As far as totals are concerned, all places will see between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of rain. So half of what we saw with that system last week.
I'll keep you updated as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll them for you throughout the day.
