The low pressure that I have been typing about lately has decided that it will take a much more southernly track tomorrow. This doesn't mean that we wont get a cloud or two from it, however in general across the region tomorrow it'll be mostly clear skies and realitvely warmer temps.
What I am tracking however is another low pressure that could effect this weekend. What I will be watching is a low pressure system that some of my long term models are having some disagreement over. The CMC/GEM wants to take the low pressure out to sea, however the GFS wants the low pressure to ride along the East Coast.
Right now, I have tried to average out both of the models right now, and that is why most of your extended forecast are saying "scattered" rain showers for the day on Friday and/or Saturday. If the low pressure does ride along the East Coast then it could very well give us some rain showers as it makes its turn from the southeast. But if the low pressure does what the CMC/GEM wants, then we could have absolutely nothing for the weekend.
So in general, it is still a few days out before I can really tell what this pressure system will do, but for right now in the region, Wednesday looks like it'll be clear however Friday and/or Saturday could see some scattered rain showers.
As far as temperatures are concerned, expect a gradual warm up in the temperatures across the region and possibly by Friday we will be back to average for a high. Today is going to to be only about 5° below average, so it'll be close enough.
I'll keep you updated as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you. I'll try to get those extended forecasts updated around noon time today once the new models runs come out.
