(Trough located near Erie, Pa., responsible for the precip today).
For those of you in the western part of the region (places like Toledo and Fort Wayne) those cloudy skies will be moving out of the area slowly as the night progresses and by the morning we should be seeing mostly clear skies. However those clouds will return tomorrow afternoon as we get ready for the same low pressure that effected us today to effect us yet again on Friday as it moves up the East Coast.
Snow showers being reported across a good chunk of the eastern part of Lake Erie, and even Toledo had some scattered snow showers this afternoon. As far as accumulations are concerned, I wont get any numbers until the morning, so I will pass those along once they come up. This trough went a bit more to the west then I originally thought it would do so, however for the main part Toledo and Detroit missed out on most of those heavier snow showers.
A trough is making its presense known across the eastern part of the region tonight, as we could be seeing about 1-2 inches of snow in places like Erie and Buffalo where some snow is already falling as has been since earlier this afternoon. Lows tonight will only be in the mid 20's, however that will allow for that snow to accumulate.
Tomorrow, for places like Toledo and Fort Wayne, the day will start off with mostly clear skies however in the afternoon we will return back to cloudy skies and possibly some scattered rain/snow showers on Friday, but I will type more about in the morning.
Temperatures are also going to start to warm up a bit, and we'll be around average tomorrow for a high. Temperatures looking as though they could get to near 60° in Fort Wayne for the day on Monday, so that will be something that I will have to keep an eye on for you all.
So, people to the east of Cleveland tonight will be seeing snow showers, which will accumulate to about 1-2 inches (possibly 3 inches in some places with those heavier bands), and skies briefly clearing out in places like Toledo, Detroit and Fort Wayne. Green Bay, look for a very clear night tonight with lows in the upper teens.
I'll have more coming up in the morning as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you as always.
