(Predicted snow fall totals for tonight through tomorrow morning).
Well, we have some winter weather on the way here across the region, and it will be the kind of weather that gives us....snow! What a bad opening line. Oh well. Lets type about this for a moment. Right now, the low pressure is down in Arkansas, and it will begin to slide northeast towards West Virginia over night. We'll start off with a little rain, and then things will begin to mix overnight. Depending on how long that mix lasts will determine how much snow we're gonna get. More mix, equals less snow.
For right now, I am keeping things about the same, Toledo will be seeing around 3-5 inches, and Fort Wayne will be seeing about 2-4 inches of snow fall.
The system is going to be tightly packed, which means that any shift in its track will alter total snow falls, however I am going to believe that it wont shift much from my predicted course. If you're going down to the southern part of Ohio your main concern will be rain, and flooding rain. So obviously this system will be very tightly organized.
The heaviest snow wont be north of Toledo, in fact places like Detroit will only see about 2-4 inches of snow fall as well. But if you're going down to Columbus, you'll see about 1-2 inches of snow and rain as well until about early morning.
So, again, I can not stress how tightly organized this system will be...it is actually rather cool when you think about it.
Anyways, I'll try to get some graphics up for you guys later tonight, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them.
