Well, tommorrow night and Wednesday night, we'll be looking at perhaps the coolest weather of the 2010-11 Winter season. Temps will get to the single digits and perhaps lower in some places. High pressure moving in from Canada will dominate the region until Friday. Let's type about this for a moment:
Green Bay you'll see lows near -5° tomorrow night, and possibly near -10° on Wednesday Night.
Toledo you'll see lows near 0° tomorrow night and again lows near or a little below 0° on Wednesday night.
Erie, Pa., you wont see it as good as the other places in the region. Looking at mid single digit temps tomorrow night and Wednesday night.
Fort Wayne you'll be seeing temps near 0° tomorrow night and then temps around -5° on Wednesday night.
Detroit wont be as cool, we'll see lows near 5° tomorrow night and then again we'll see lows near 5° on Wednesday night.
So, in all honesty, nothing much really happening across the region for the rest of this week. Highs will be in the teens, lows in the single digits and skies will remain relatively clear across much of the region. Some lake effect snow to watch out for tonight in Buffalo and Erie, but otherwise not a whole lot going on tonight. Skies will gradually clear in the west and become partly to mostly cloudy for the day tomorrow.
Looking at the long term, I am expecting that we will see some warmer weather across the region come the beginning of next week. Places like Fort Wayne could see highs in the lower 40's for Monday. So we'll obviously have to keep an eye on that for all you warm weather folks out there.
Just as a reminder, we did have some tech problems this morning, hence why the extended forecasts and posts weren't up at all this morning. Now, I will have updated posts and extended forecasts up tomorrow morning, so do check back for those.
So, check those extended forecasts for updates and more information regarding your cities. I'll keep you updated as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather!
