Cool day tomorrow

Well cooler and windier weather is on its way as our high pressure gets ready to take control over the region. But first, lets talk about the present weather across the area

We do have the snow still falling in the area, however it is about to end in Fort Wayne, probably within the hour it'll be over with. Toledo, you still have another hour or so until the snow showers begin to taper off in your area. Right now in the NW Ohio area I am looking at snow fall accumulations around an inch, however I still have yet to go out and measure. Also, we wont know until about 7 a.m. tomorrow morning to see how much snow has fallen across the region, because as usual, the snow fall reports do not come in until tomorrow morning.

Over in Erie, you have a way to go until the snow falls. However, here is the fun part, the snow will last a little longer than I had originally expected...and then you'll have some light lake effect snow take over afterwards, so you might as well just get use to the snow for the next 24 hours or so. But the majority of your accumulation will happen between now and tomorrow morning...about 2-3 inches. And then an extra inch or so of snow fall accumulation for the weekend. Pretty vague forecast huh. Just to add more to the excitement, it'll get a little breezy tomorrow morning and throughout the day tomorrow so that means that there could be some blowing snow on those backroads.

Now, moving back west. High pressure is going to move into the area later tonight and be in control of the region for tomorrow. This means much cooler temperatures. But dont worry, it'll also be a bit breezy -- so that will make the windchill rather low. Tomorrow morning, in Toledo and Fort Wayne, I am expecting temperatures to be around 10° (possibly lower) and I expect the winds could occasionally gust around 20 m.p.h. which means, according to the wind chill equation, the windchill will be around -10° in the morning. High temps in Toledo and Fort Wayne tomorrow will only be in the mid teens, and we'll see those winds be gusty for a good chunk of the day, so tomorrow will be a cool day.

Along with the winds too, there could be some blowing snow. This wont that really bad blowing snow, but it'll be enough to be noticable, enough to probably hit you in the face while you're standing outside.

So, the snow will be ending this evening, and then we'll see scattered snow showers in Fort Wayne and Toledo overnight. Not much else in terms of accumulation. Then, the winds will pick up and we'll see windchills dip to around -8° or -10° tomorrow morning. High temperatures tomorrow will only be near 15°, so we could see the windchills stay low for most of the day. Then tomorrow night, cooler temperatures around 5°, but the winds should have decreased a bit.

I'll keep you all up to date as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates.
