Clipper then cool

Right now, lets talk about some present weather. We have some lake effect snow that is going on in Buffalo and Erie. In Buffalo today, you could see some more snow showers throughout the day, for total snow accumulations of 4-8 inches. For Erie, not as heavy of snow, but still some total accumulations of 2-4 inches is looking likely. The snow will last through the day today and into tomorrow morning, but tomorrow afternoon the snow should lessen and you'll go straight into mostly cloudy skies.

Well, later today as this high pressure moves out of the region, we'll see a weak low pressure move through the area. This will bring with it some cloudy skies and some scattered snow showers. The clouds are already moving into the region, and expect them to increase throughout the day today. We'll also only see highs in the teens for much of the reading area.

So basically, it'll be cloudy across much of the region, with cooler temps in the teens and some scattered snow showers this afternoon. Most places will see under an inch of accumulation if they see any accumulation at all.

Once this low clear out of the way, a second high pressure will build up behind it. This high will settle over the area late tonight and for the day tomorrow. Cooler temperatures are likely again for the next two mornings. This high however will bring clearer skies (as all high seem to do).

Once this high pressure moves out of the area on Monday, we could see another low pressure system move in from the northern Plain's. This low could bring us a chance for some more snow showers, but nothing too much. This low will stick with us probably until Tuesday morning.

The rest of the week will be cloudy for much of us here in the Great Lakes region. Highs in the 20's and lows in the teens, with Green Bay probably seeing cooler weather than that. Otherwise, nothing much going on, a most quiet day in terms of weather here in the Great Lakes. I'll keep you up to date as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates.
