Clipper system

Well, tomorrow we'll be watching as a clipper system will move through the Great Lakes region. This could bring snow for a good chunk of the Great Lakes region, but it wont be much snow so do not panic -- because people will as always.

We're going to see scattered snow flurries for places from Detroit to Toledo today, with highs still pretty warm in the lower 30's. Now, places like Erie, you'll be getting some light lake effect snow (which always happens) and that'll give you snow totals around an inch or two for most places in the Erie area.

Wednesday and Wednesday night is when this system gets interesting. It'll start to get a little stronger as it sort of stalls over lower Ontario. It wont stall too long, but enough to get it a little more power. We could see scattered snow showers from Fort Wayne to Buffalo, but nothing will be too heavy as most of the snow showers will be light.

Once the system passes through on Thursday, we'll see temperatures begin to drop a little bit more, looking at possible single digit temperatures in the Toledo area on Friday night/Saturday morning.

Now, because of the continuing tech problems, this forecast may seem a bit vague, because remember we here at GLWX really haven't been able to much weather looking. So, as the day goes on today, we'll continue to update these forecasts and let you know what is happening, so for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Stay tuned.
