Well, the first clipper has made its presence known across the region today, as most places from Green Bay to Toledo saw about 1-2 inches of snow, and I wont be surprised if tomorrow morning when I check the reports I see that some people got about 3 inches.
The snow showers will be ending in Toledo and Fort Wayne before midnight, and we're actually seeing those snow showers begin to taper off and move out of their area right now as I type this. A chance for some scattered snow showers after midnight, but in general it looks to be a cloudy night across the region.
We're watching our next clipper system getting ready to move into the area, and this one might be a tad-bit stronger than the first, but we'll still most likely only see about 1-3 inches of snow across the effected areas. The cities that will be effected by it tomorrow will be Green Bay, and then tomorrow night and into Saturday morning we'll see places like Toledo, Fort Wayne and Detroit get effected by it.
Nothing out of the ordinary here in the Great Lakes region, its January so get use to it. Snow happens. Remember, if snow accumulations are under 6 inches, and I catch you - an able bodied person - using a snow blower, I will kick your ass. Ha-ha... PG snow humor.
Well, I'll have more coming up for you in the morning, we'll type about our second clipper system and the timing and predicted amounts that I have forecasted for, as well as the cooler temps that we could see behind our second clipper. I'll keep you up to date as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates, because we'll have them.
