A white Christmas?

Well, the cloud deck that was expected to be upon us this evening hasn't arrived yet, so we're still going to be looking for lows down in the low teens for much of the region from Fort Wayne, to Detroit and down to Toledo. Here is what we expect for the day tomorrow:

Increasing clouds will approach the Great Lakes region later tonight. Lows in Fort Wayne and Toledo will be near 10°. Detroit will see the mid teens for a low tonight. Moving into tomorrow, the clouds should have rolled in by then, and we'll see cloudy skies for much of the day tomorrow with a high in the mid 20's. Scattered snow flurries and showers are possible for much of the above mentioned region. Nothing too much in terms of accumulations, maybe a tenth of an inch at best.

Now here comes the fun. Monday night into Tuesday, we'll see a system that is going to come out of the northern Plains. This system will begin to weaken as it moves our way, however we could still get some snow from it. I am not expecting anything too major, however an inch of accumulation is possible in places from Toledo to Fort Wayne, Detroit probably wont see that much.

Moving into Thursday is when our next possible snow accumulation could happen. Now it is still too early to call, but maybe 1-2 inches of snow could fall between Thursday and Friday, and that will be nice to see, which means places along the Great Lakes will most likely see a white Christmas. ...And if we dont, I will personally go to Canada, grab buckets full of snow and dump them across the Great Lakes...granted the Canadian Government will allow me to bring mass quantities of snow across the border -- but maybe they'll let us do it for Ontario at least because that is within their borders...oh well.

Coming up in the morning I'll have updates on our "little system" that will try to reach us by Monday evening, and I'll also begin to make some preliminary forecasts for Thursday and Friday as we could see yet another snow system move in. So stay tuned, check back for updates tomorrow, and I'll keep you up to date as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather!
