Now that we have Irina out of the way (unless you're in Buffalo and Erie) then all will be fine...or will it?
For the areas from Fort Wayne to Toledo, look for mostly clear skies through Thursday, however on Thursday we could see some scattered snow showers thanks to a weak low that'll be passing through Illinois. Nothing to be concerned about in all honesty, just a dusting of snow most likely. Otherwise, expect temperatures to remain about the same, with highs in the 20's and lows in the teens (except for tonight where lows will be in the single digits) for the rest of the week up to atleast Saturday. So not really much going on in the weather world with the exception of a chance of snow on Thursday for places like Fort Wayne, Toledo and possibly Grand Rapids and Detroit, but nothing like we saw over the weekend thats for sure.
Heading on out to Erie, well lake effect snow through tomorrow night, with total accumulations of 2-5 inches possible on top of the snow you already have. Right now in Erie there is about 8 inches of snow on the ground, so we'll probably add a couple more inches on top of that by tomorrow night. Then, we'll actually see a break in the snow for a couple days, only to them possibly returning on Friday, but that wont be a lake effect event.
So for the rest of the Great Lakes region, the next 24 hours isn't going to be exciting...I guess I'll try to make it exciting...
ONCE upon a time in a far off land called Great Lakeiada, there was a lonely low pressure system... that is going to form out of the Rocky mountains, it wont be a very strong low...I mean, this low was always fairly weak it the eyes of its peers, however this low pressure one day...it will travel down across the western Great Lakes...and it decided to run away from the grasp of the Canadian atmosphere...it's boring...and it ran through Illinois...well it will...ah the hell with it, you all know what I mean.
So a quiet day tomorrow, scattered snow showers in Fort Wayne and Toledo on Thursday, nothing to be concerened about. Otherwise, a calm looking weekend for the msot part. I'll keep you up to date as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather!
