Well lets take a look at a brief look at some of our forecasts for the Great Lakes region today:
Toledo: I am expecting mostly clear skies today, the skies have cleared out a little earlier than I had expected, however we'll see clouds return later on this evening. Highs today however will be in the mid 20's and it could be a little breezy during the day today. Tonight, look for lows near 10° to 15°, however once that cloud deck rolls back in, we'll see the temps rise over to the upper teens after midnight. Tomorrow, not looking like a bad day either with mostly cloudy skies and some scattered snow flurries possible in the afternoon. Highs tomorrow will be in the mid 20's.
Fort Wayne: Looking about the same right now as Toledo is, highs today in the mid 20's with mostly clear skies. Clouds will be rolling in later tonight, so we'll call for lows between 10° to 15° early and then once the clouds roll in we'll see lows in the upper teens.
Looking at the mid term forecast here at the GLWX, we're tracking our next possible weather system which will come from the northern Plains, and this could give places like Toledo and Fort Wayne maybe an inch of snow on Monday night through Tuesday evening. Now, right now it is still a bit too early to make a decent call on this system, however it wont be as strong as what we saw last week.
I'll keep you up to date on this system as it makes its way over to the Great Lakes and I'll have more coming up in just a bit, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather!
