Well, right now, it is not warm here in NW Ohio. Actually, our windchill has dipped below 0° quite a few times this morning.
For the record, what is a windchill? Well, a windchill is what the temperature outside feels like relative to the wind and the real temperature.
For example, right now it is 22.8°F here in BG, but the winds are blowing from the NW around 10-20 mph, which puts our windchill anywhere between 12° and 8°, which means it feels like 12-8° outside.
The only things that are affected by windchill are humans and animals, this is where frostbite comes in to play. You're body feels colder weather then what it is actually is. I am not an anatomy person, however, your body will try to stay warmer more than it really needs to, hence frost bite.
I'll have your complete forecast coming up in just a bit. But for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather!
