Rainy week, but not today

Well, throughout much of the Great Lakes region, starting tomorrow, we'll start to see scattered rain showers. What is happening is simple: we have a low pressure down near Texas that'll move up towards Pennsylvania. Second, we have another low trying to get organized over in the Rocky Mountains. This low will begin to move our way on Wednesday, so we'll be affected by two weather systems.

Are we going to see flooding? Doubt it. Is this the rain storm of the century? Ha, hell no. But it will be enough to give us hopefully 0.25 inches of rain, which is something that we need. So, let's take a look at my forecast shall we:

NW Ohio area: we'll see mostly clear skies today with highs around 55°. Come this evening, the clouds will move in towards the early evening hours. After midnight, we'll start seeing some scattered rain showers move in the area. Tomorrow, rain showers will be scattered with highs again near 50°.

NW Ohio area long term: Rain showers will be scattered for much of this week, and we'll see highs between 50 and 55°, but on Thursday we'll see highs near 45° and we might see some snow flurries mix in with the rain in the morning.

So what does all this mean in terms of amusement? Well, finally, you'll get to see me standing outside in the elements, and we'll have some fun broadcasts as the rain falls.

Detroit: highs today near 45° with mostly clear skies. Again, the clouds roll in this evening and scattered rain showers will be affecting you all tomorrow as well.

Cleveland: highs today near 55°, mostly clear. Clouds will roll in this evening (notice a pattern) and we'll see rain showers tomorrow as well.

I'll be keeping you up to date on all this as the system begins to take place. For now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather!
