Well today will be a warm day, and this is all thanks to two weather systems that are tormenting us with this warm weather (as you can tell, I do not like warm weather). We have a high pressure down in the Gulf which is pushing up warmer air our way. Also, in the Plains we have a low pressure which is assisting the warmer to move up our way. This low is taking its time in moving towards us, and it is getting stronger but very slowly. Currently it is at 1000 mbs (average pressure is 1013, so yea). This isn't a strong system, however it will be good enough to give us some rain perhaps sometime on the weekend. What does this mean for us? Simple, warmer temperatures until at least Friday. Let me show you some numbers for today:
Chicago, Ill. Average high is 50°, today Chicago will be in the mid 60's.
Fort Wayne, Ind. Average high is 52°, today Fort Wayne will be also in the mid 60's.
Grand Rapids, Mich. Average high is 48°, today Grand Rapids will see highs in the lower 60's.
Lima, Oh. Average high is 52°, today Lima will see highs in the mid 60's.
So an above average day today for these temperatures, places will be seeing highs 5-15° above average. However, I do expect that by the beginning of next week, we'll see highs back to our average.
I'll keep you up to date as always, that's the weather!
