Broken record

I know I am starting to sound like a broken record with all this "rain is on its way" however you must understand that this is the only weather event worth talking about right now. Remember, for a weather man, sunny days are the worst there could be. So with that being complained about, lets get to some weather now.

Here is what I expect to go down within the 36 hours. First off, the low pressure down in Texas is going to start moving up our way over night. By the morning, if all goes according to plan, it'll be in Missouri or close to it. The low (I named it Tzipora) will continue to move to the northeast throughout the day. Tzipora will deepen (meteorologist slang for "get strong") and possibly reach 998 mbs by tomorrow morning.

People in the southern Great Lakes region (Ft. Wayne, Toledo, S. Bend, Lima) will see clouds start to roll in late tonight and possibly into the morning. A mostly cloudy day for the southern Great Lakes for tomorrow, with highs near 55°.

Starting around the late afternoon (around 4 p.m. or 6 p.m.) Tzipora will start to produce rain for the mentioned region and the rain will start off scattered. The rain will persist throughout the nighttime hours tomorrow as Tzipora passes over Indiana tomorrow night. By Wednesday, Tzipora will be out of the Great Lakes region, so we most likely wont see any rain on Wednesday, but Tzipora might change her mind if she decides to get stronger.

A second low trying to get organized over South Dakota might give us some more rain on Thursday, this is where places like Fort Wayne and Detroit could see some scattered snow showers mixing in. Will Toledo get these snow showers...right now, I am going to say no.

So lets recap here quickly before I bore you any more.

1. Tzipora will move NE from Texas tonight, most likely in Missouri at 998 mbs by the morning.
2. Tzipora will pass over Indiana tomorrow night, giving off and on rain showers for much of the southern Great Lakes region tomorrow night.
3. Tzipora clears out of the area by Wednesday, where most of the mentioned region will see only some isolated rain showers.
4. A second low will pass through the Great Lakes region on Thursday giving more scattered rain showers with the possibility of some snow showers mixing in early in the morning.

I'll have more on Tzipora coming up tomorrow morning, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather!
