Well if you're going to be in the central and eastern part of the region, it will be a snowy next couple of days. We have a low pressure which will cross through central Ohio later today, and its precip is going to linger around the area until the clipper system arrives.
Today, a low is going to enter central Ohio and that'll give most places from Fort Wayne to Toledo about 1-3 inches of snow fall. Nothing out of the usual. But then overnight we'll see lingering scattered snow showers and then a brief break for Sunday. But then Sunday night rolls in and we'll watch as our clipper system rolls through central Michigan.
The clipper wont be very strong, but it'll be enough to give the above mentioned another 1-3 inches of snow. Now, some places will see heavier bands and a couple more scattered snow showers, so you could see upwards to 2-4 inches, but in general this will be a fairly light snow event and nothing like what we were predicting last week (remember Darya, ya I do).
Be sure to check the extended forecasts for our predicted snow fall totals and timing.
Otherwise, cooler temps will be behind this system and we'll see those lows back into the single digits again on Tuesday night and Wednesday night.
Now, for a lot of you, I bet you're wondering: why has the GLWX been so slow with their updates and not doing as much forecasting these past couple days. Simple, really, we've been a little busy and we do apologize. However, we are back on track now and everything has been situated, so we will be back to our normal forecasting selves as always.
I'll keep you updated as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them.
